Hosted by country music superstar Paul Brandt, Build It Forward is an exciting and inspirational documentary series that challenges commonly-held ideas of poverty and revolutionizes the idea of giving back.  The show chronicles the journey of seven separate families struggling to build a future for themselves and for their families, and documents their journey as they work to purchase their very own home.

Build It Forward moves beyond the typical home-makeover show by pushing each family to “build it forward” themselves.  While benefiting from the goodwill and grace of donations and volunteers in their own community, individuals from each family are taken to developing regions (Mexico and Haiti) to experience poverty on an international scale.  Abroad, the family members work on community projects designed to help those less fortunate and improve the lives of others through the ripple effect of “building it forward.”

Build It Forward takes the recipient family and the audience along with them, beyond their current world-view and culture into a generous future that challenges political, religious and philosophical boundaries.
