Sugarland just released "Stuck Like Glue," the first single from their upcoming album The Incredible Machine and the accompanying video is creating some buzz even before its release.
The video features Jennifer Nettles stalking actor Ryan McPartlin, who plays Devon "Captian Awesome" Woodcomb on the television series Chuck. Jennifer tells Entertainment Weekly, "When you see his character that he plays on Chuck, you know, he is Captain Awesome. He's the perfect guy. He's the perfect boyfriend, he’s the perfect athlete. We thought that would be a funny twist. He fits the profile. Very handsome… And he's a good actor as well, and also a nice guy."
Jennifer's musical partner in crime, Kristian Bush, has his own special role in the video. Jennifer says, "He was my henchman. Totally my accomplice... With very important responsibilities like bagging the object of my obsessive affections. Bagging him for the kidnapping. Literally bagging him, over the head. Driving the getaway car. He had a lot of responsibilities so that I could be crazy, which is kind of like our lives [laughs]."
"Stuck Like Glue" was released to country radio this week and watch for the video in the coming weeks on CMT Music and MyCMT Morning. The new album, The Incredible Machine, will be out on October 19.
