Doc Walker putting on 2 free shows in Red Deer & Edmonton

The guys will be putting on a show for the winners of The Hair Massacure for Edmonton and Northern Alberta Annual head shave charity event as well as a concert for the 8th Annual Cures for Kids Radiothon.

The Hair Massacure for Edmonton and Northern Alberta held their annual head shave charity event on Friday, February 12th at West Edmonton Mall's Ice Palace. Schools across Alberta compete each year to raise the most money for the charity.

Neil M. Ross school came in 1st place; Leo Nickerson school came in 2nd, and Place Georges H. Primeau in 3rd. These top 3 schools raised a combined total of $142,000. All 3 schools have been invited to Niel M. Ross’s school yard at 12pm noon on May 7th for a FREE outdoor concert with Doc Walker.

The 8th Annual Cures for Kids Radiothon is presented by G Country 95.5 FM, Zed 99 & The Optimist Clubs of Central Alberta.

Starting Thursday May 6th at 6am, join Zed 99’s Al Tompson along with Greg, Tera Lee & Al from KG Mornings for two days of heartwarming stories of hope and inspiration along with your chance to take home incredible auction packages & the opportunity to continue an eight year tradition of helping Central Alberta families.

Doc Walker will be the featured music act for this years’ Radiothon.

All proceeds from the 8th Annual Cures for Kids Radiothon will benefit Camp Quality & Ronald McDonald House Central Alberta.
