"Say What You need to Say"

There was a video on CMT I seen, with a singer in a chair,I belive the song was "Say What You Need to Say" or maybe "mean to say".
Either way I cannot remember who the artist is,Like I say he is in a wheelchair,and in the video there are folks holding signs and such,and he is in the studio sign...
