-Troy Tait
Classic Rock C103
“The Watermen are genuine performers with true natural talent.”
-Alan Cochrane
It’s hard to believe it was 11 years ago that Mark Little wrote the official theme song for the Children’s Wish Foundation, and was presented with a plaque of appreciation on stage at the Misty Moon. A musical career was born and continued this past week, when Mark’s Moncton based band The Watermen held their 1st CD release at Bubbles Mansion.(Trailer Park Boys)
The special guest at last Friday’s party was Reveen, who showed up straight from his own performance at the Rebecca Cohn. Mike Smith (a.k.a. Bubbles from Trailer Park Boys) seemed downright “mesmerized” ... or maybe it was just those glasses!
-JAMIE PATTERSON
The Daily News
“Where there is art, there is music, and vice versa. This all becomes apparent after listening to The Watermen’s CD. The unique mix of their new sound with the comfort of the familiar is both refreshing and welcomed. Marc’s raw, raspy voice lends way to relatable lyrics that are light and sometimes dance with flirtation. The band’s message and mood is clear without being heavily weighed down by tough, sharp lyrics. It’s the kind of music you can listen to anytime, anywhere and always leaves you feeling inspired . Music has that ability, and so does this band.”
