Biography
Shane Chisholm's country crooning can be dated back to a time when his mother put him on stage with his two siblings singing Country Classics in three part harmony where Shane commanded the Bass lines with his deep and rich two year old voice.
"I just always had a low voice." says Shane
Growing up in a rural area outside of Sault.Ste.Marie Ontario Shane found ways of expressing his creativity by singing, playing and writing about future heart breaks.
Shane has become a road warrior, touring Canada with his own band as well as Bassist and backup singer for many of Canada’s biggest Country Stars having preformed with Aaron Lines, Gil Grand, Aaron Pritchett, Steve Fox, Julian Austin, Duane Steele, Beverly Mahood, Sean Hogan, Jake Mathews and has also been nominated for CCMA Bass player of the year in 2003, 2004, 2007
Now residing in Claresholm Alberta Shane is currently writing and recording songs for his first roots/country solo record
His writing has been described as “Light to Dark with an element danger”.
With a passion for telling stories and a desire to entertain Shane is taking everything he's learned from the Industry and putting 100% of it in to his solo career.
