Biography
I grew up in between two small towns in central Alberta, where i still live today. Like many artists i began singing as soon as i could talk. Singing and music in general has a way of speaking to me. Every mood can be felt through music. For me songwriting has been the way for me to express myself, growing up i wasn't a very good talker so I'd sing! lol I've sang at so many local functions throughout the years that this career i so badly want to pursue just comes natural to me now. I started a band back almost three years now when i was in grade 12. We preformed a song that i had written at our schools talent show and won, i was asked to preform that song at our Graduation/Prom that year. We played at alot of functions around the area and had an awesome time opening up for Julian Austen back in 2006. We stayed together for almost two years before we went our separate ways due to different music interests, the guys loving everything from punk to rock to blues and myself wanting to focus more on my country music roots! lol The experience was fantastic though and i learned alot from the guys. About ten months ago i bought myself an Electric Acoustic Garrison guitar and i have been practicing so much that my fingers are more callused than my dads! haha And i've finally played the guitar on stage at a couple of performances lately,which is a big accomplishment having been self taught. My confidence and stage performance has improves drastically, and now I'm ready to venture out and hopefully be noticed!!
